Drowned Passport
My passport was accidentally washed. My mom was terrified because it held many important visas, but I did not panic at all. I looked up how to dry it and tested whether electronic scanners could still read it. Eventually, my passport still worked!
I tend to skip the panic and find solutions first.

Calm Races
I competed in several shooting competitions in secondary school. Shooting is an extremely precise sport—a difference of 0.3 points can matter enormously.
I was never nervous during a competition, even when the final bullet determined whether I would win. In fact, I was especially calm on the last shot. Calmness is the key to performing consistently under pressure. Even if a restless shooter’s movement looks the same, the score will reveal the difference.

The Cat Café Disaster
Once, my friend and I went to a cat café. She had no idea she was allergic to cats until her face suddenly turned red and broke out in bumps, her neck began to swell, and her eyes became so swollen that she could barely open them.
We were walking through a relatively quiet part of the city, far from her home, and she really did not want to go to a hospital.
So I took her hand, opened navigation, and found the nearest pharmacy while helping her walk there. Meanwhile, I looked up several medications for her symptoms. At the counter, I quickly explained the situation to the pharmacist.
After taking the medication recommended by the pharmacist, she began to feel better—and she was really grateful to me.
Apparently, my response to a terrifying situation is: hold one hand, go to the reliable place, and think ahead to the next step.
